A Trumpian trade war, a new German government, and an Italian election mess

A new government is finally ready to take office in Germany, just in time for a threatened trade war from Washington and political chaos in Europe's fourth largest economy.

For this month's podcast, Dave from Brussels and Tyson from Berlin talked over the phone about the three biggest political stories in Europe this month:
  • Trump's threatened trade war and rapidly deteriorating transatlantic relations
  • A new German government in Berlin, at long last
  • An inconclusive Italian election with the prospect of no new government in Rome for some time
As uncertainty is resolved in Germany, how will Europe to react to the new uncertainty introduced from Washington and Rome? Tyson and Dave discuss.
